Immanuel is a church that obeys the Great Commission sending full-time missionaries and short-term missionary teams to different countries and within our nation. The Hispanic ministry has sent missionary teams internationally to Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina, Spain, Rwanda, and the Caribbean.  Domestically, we have served in the Navajo-Apache Reservation in Arizona and in two churches in Colorado and Rhode Island.

Missions 2025

This year, we will be going to a short-term mission trip to Ecuador from June 21-29th.  We will have a yard sale on May 17, 2025 from 7am-2pm in church to raise funds. We will be in the box truck behind the gym, accepting donations for the Yard Sale on Sundays from 8:30am-12:30pm, starting on April 6-May 11th.  Please use this donation list before dropping anything off.

Mission Philosophy and Participation

Our short-term mission trips consist on evangelism and compassion ministry.  The brothers and sisters from our congregation are welcome to serve. The trips normally last a week and preparation for them is done two months before the trip.  Candidates will be elected if they meet the requirements of participation.

Requirements:
  • Attend the Missions Open House
  • Fill out the Interest Form
  • Fill out the application
  • Wait for the missions committee to evaluate your application
  • After being selected, participate in the preparation meetings
  • After being selected, raise funds individually and collectively
